There are so many creative Halloween themed dinner ideas I couldn’t wait to share some of my favorites. You will have everything you need to surprise your kids with a spooky treat and host an amazing Halloween dinner party!

If your kids are like mine, they get so excited about trick or treating and all that candy coming their way, it’s hard to get them to eat a good dinner beforehand. These Halloween main dishes are perfect ways to work in nutritious meals. Best of all, they are easy to put together and most use ingredients you already have on hand!

Spooky Halloween Dinner Ideas

This will steal the show and it is a quick and simple meal! Just a little black food paste colorant turns these spaghetti noodles a vibrant black and makes for a very spooky dish. The sauce can be made with ground beef, sausage, or vegetarian. Green olives that look eerily like eyeballs top off the dish perfectly!

Skull Shaped Bread in Tomato Basil Soup

Using Wilton’s 3D mini skull pan, you can create these spooky (and yummy) skeleton heads.  They float perfectly in this delicious tomato basil soup (this is the best tomato soup recipe)—although you could call it a bowl of blood if you’re feeling ornery!  Great for Halloween parties!
