A year filled with many firsts, this was our very first-ever 25 days of an upcycled Christmas where we shared new and creative Christmas crafts every day in December using materials we found around the house.
The Joy of Christmas Crafting
I’m sure we’re not alone when we say Christmas crafting has always been our favorite kind of crafting. Whether it’s to make handmade gifts or to add decorations for the house, those Christmas crafts (more often than not) possess an extra special quality about them.
This year we wanted to try something a little different, by creating crafts using upcycled materials, items we found around the house to bring out our most creative selves while sticking to a budget. Everything from cereal boxes and lightbulbs, to gift wrap and scrap fabric were used in some way for Christmas, either for an ornament, a decor item or even a handmade gift.
That being said, let the Christmas crafting begin!
It was a busy month and if you missed any of these fun projects we’ve collected them all together. Many of them will also make great winter crafts ideas, so it’s not to late to start creating!
