Happy August! Time is such a cruel thing, isn’t it? I find that when you’re doing monthly work like this, it really makes the months feel like they’re flying. We’re headed toward fall and it feels to me like we’ve just started.

But! The beautiful thing about the Intention Blueprint is that it has really kept me feeling present, even though time is whizzing by. I’ll be honest — I’ve missed a couple of months of Blueprints, and those are always the ones that I feel a little lost on.

But on the months when I complete my Blueprint, I feel like I have a clear vision and intention for the month. And it feels really good.

WHAT ARE INTENTION BLUEPRINTS?

But hold up, let’s explain this! What are Intention Blueprints, anyway?

At the start of 2020, I was searching for ways serve you which are tangible, actionable, and valuable. Things that would actually help make your life measurably better.

I wanted something that could bridge the digital gap for us, and connect us in a human way. So I came up with this idea, to create space for you to grow in your own ways.

At the start of each month, I share a (totally free!) worksheet here for you to help guide your thoughts and create an Intention Blueprint for the following 30 days. Every month there’s a new set of thoughts, ideas, and prompts to help you craft your own roadmap. And the purpose? To help you feel positive, examine your thoughts, create a life you love, and live your days with intention.

I think of these monthly Blueprints as a reset button. You know that feeling on January 1st, where anything is possible? These help me get that feeling.

If you have missed any previous months, you can find them here. And you can download August’s below!

In August’s Intention Blueprint, I was focusing on finding grace for ourselves as we learn, grow, and change. None of us is who we were last year (or five or ten years ago). This Blueprint explores the people who we were vs. the people who we are now, and the beauty in that.

And I love the mantra: We are all allowed to learn and grow.

How Do I Do It?

Here’s what to do next. Once I email you the August Intention Blueprint, download and print the worksheet. If you plan on completing the Intention Blueprint every month, I suggest you get a binder or a folder to keep all of your worksheets in one place. That way, you can look back at past months and see all of your thoughts and progress.

Find a time and place that feels open and welcoming to you. Sit down with your Blueprint and your favorite pen, and let it flow!

We also have this incredible illustrated version by Megan Roy, which you can share on Instagram or download for your tech. If you share, be sure to use #LovelyIndeedBlueprint so I can see you!

And finally, if you have enrolled in (or are planning on enrolling in) The Productivity Tool Kit, these prompts are totally in line with everything that I teach there. They are an awesome added self-exploration that will definitely enhance your understanding of productivity as a form of self-care!

So let’s do this, August. We’re ready to see how we’ve grown. xoxo
