How to Paint a Thrift Store Stepstool with a Stencil

Paint the top of the stool with a white chalky paint and let it dry completely.

Next, paint the legs of the step stool with the green paint and let it dry completely.

Once dry place the stencil on the top of the stool and using the blue paint, brush the paint over the stencil and allow it to dry completely. Use a dabbing action with the brush, and don’t overload it with paint.

Repeat the process using a different stencil and the green paint and allow it to dry completely.
